Outdoor Research “Rooted”
This was a project that I had the pleasure of editing for the legendary Seattle based outdoor brand, Outdoor Research. Our goal with this edit was to create a fast-paced piece that captivated audiences and took them on a journey through the Pacific Northwest. For this edit we leaned into the vintage feel of some of the archival footage and utilized flash frames and film burns to quicken the edit’s pace.
Northbound Gear’s Adventure Pants
This was a massive campaign that we created for NBGC with over 190+ photo & video assets. For this project we produced 5 different shoots that focused on the lifestyle surrounding NBGC’s flagship product, their “Adventure Pants”. We then created 5 shorter vignette ads that focused on each shoot. From these ads we then assembled a main ad featuring all of the best footage. In order for the ads to get the best chance at reaching the right audience, we created multiple hooks for theses ads so that they could be tested on socials and see which one gained the most traction. We also delivered all formats for video for this campaign which included 16x9, 4x5, 1x1 & 9x16 deliverables. This was done so that these videos would be best formatted for every intended social media channel.
Brooks Running (Spec) Ad
This was a project created in collaboration with local Seattle photographer Mac Holt and Brooks sponsored runner Kristina Randrup. Our goal for this piece was to create a fast paced edit that highlighted a runner embracing the elements while out for a run. To keep things interesting we spiced up this edit with fast cuts and motion tracked effects.
“Walking On Ice”
This is the trailer for a full length feature documentary that I edited in collaboration with Director Dru Solberg. For this trailer we wanted to capture the grittiness that these people had to endure on their journey to recovery, along with the overall uplifting tone that is woven throughout this doc.
This was a very complex project with hundreds of gigs of interview and b-roll footage to sift through. Despite that, we were able to edit this film together in just a few weeks. And after a very well received private theatrical release, the film has now been submitted to the festival circuit! The full film will be available to stream spring 2025!

Adventure Films
This is a short film that documents my process of capturing several images of Mt. Rainier at sunset from a helicopter. This was a complicated shoot that required weeks of planning in order to capture these shots. It was also a blast to create!
This short film documents my journey to Peru as I hiked over 110 miles exploring the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu, as well as the Ausangate Trek around the Peruvian mountains. This was a trip filled with adventure, including sketchy river crossings, wild llama encounters and like any great adventure, a dose of self discovery.
